How we work:
We have access to a full range of services that ensure our operational units achieve extremely high standards. Advisors dedicated to such areas as training, recycling, I.T., quality, marketing, container management, customer service, health, safety, environmental service and supply and purchases ensure that LG&P operates to the standards that are now expected of any high profile waste pollution control and management company.
In our 11 plus years of Waste management control core business, LG&P has become recognised as an industry leader in the development of sound Waste management control and risk reduction options and more recently this success has be channelled into waste management, by applying new environmental initiatives and management systems.
Included in this is the development of a waste management advisory team within the industry. Recent additions to the system have been a recyclable waste tracking system that allocates weights of all materials collected back to the waste holder, as well as a single transfer note system that enables multi-site customers to benefit from a single quarterly transfer note covering waste collections from all its premises.
The introduction of the landfill tax and waste packaging legislation has now focussed waste producers on the need to reduce their potential financial impact through tighter internal controls, accurate monitoring and increased recycling. LG&P works in partnership with its customers, using an extensive range of services, to develop programmes that minimise waste efficiently and cost effectively. These initiatives include maximising container usage and implementing recycling initiatives.
